Meet The Team

At Thread HR, we’re dedicated to helping businesses grow sustainably and profitably by building solid people foundations. We don’t just help you manage your people; we help you unlock their potential to make your business more successful.
From improving organisational culture to ensuring clarity on objectives and expectations, we work closely with you to develop strategies that boost motivation and performance at every level.

Amanda Henderson
Thread HR Founder, Amanda Henderson
Amanda has a solid academic background in all things business and HR with a BSc in Marketing, a Postgraduate Diploma in Multi-Unit Strategy and Leadership and Level 7 CIPD. But perhaps more importantly than this, Amanda has experience in running teams and driving profit and loss accounts in all types of companies from a FTSE 250 business to start-ups.
It is this coupling of practical and operational experience with high-level theory that means that Thread HR is the partner that makes sense for your business.
Thread HR was founded in January 2023 but followed on from Amanda Henderson HR which was set up in 2021.
Outside of the business, Amanda is mum to two girls, a keen runner, cyclist and rower (the latter sadly just on a machine), a voracious reader and a fanatical foodie. As if all that is not enough, she is also a councillor on Rugby Borough Council.

Hayley Greenwood
People Partner, Hayley Greenwood
Hayley joined the team in September 2024 and brought with her a winning combination of knowledge, experience, warmth and fun, making her a perfect addition to the Thread HR team.
She has over 10 years of experience working in Human Resources. Throughout this time she has carried out the full range of People tasks and projects spanning the entire employee life-cycle.
She also holds a Level 7 CIPD qualification and brings bags of experience from the worlds of utilities and manufacturing, and therefore, working with unions.
Hayley is mum to a little boy and a cockapoo. Weekends are often spent at football matches cheering on her husband-to-be, or organising her wedding; another busy bee!

Courtney Crombie
People Advisor, Courtney Crombie
Courtney joined the team in December 2024.
She studied Legal Services at Fife College, gaining her Higher National Diploma in 2020. She worked in the legal industry for a few years before realising that HR had her heart and that she needed to follow a different path.
Her career has taken her to HR departments in all sorts of industries from shipbuilding to construction, and we are delighted that she has found her next HR home at Thread HR. She is currently working towards the Level 5 CIPD qualification, which is due to finish in June 2025.
Courtney is a mum to twin girls and in her spare time enjoys family outings and squeezing in time with friends.
