Meet Thread HR’s Team!

We’re back!

It was so nice to receive such positive feedback on our first blog. We speak about the importance of praise and recognition a lot with our clients, and amongst the team, it really does give the sort of boost that walking off aeroplane steps into the hot sun gives you.

So, a big thank you to everyone for reading, engaging, sharing, liking and commenting, and hopefully coming back for more this time!

As promised, this blog is all about our team, and without stating the obvious, we wouldn’t be who we are without them!

We’ll kick off the introductions with our Founder and Managing Director, Amanda Henderson. Now where do we start, the list of things Amanda does makes you question whether her days have more than 24 hours in!

From rising early to train for Hyrox events, being a Councillor for her local town of Rugby, raising two beautiful girls, not breaking her streak on Duolingo, eating gorgeous meals, attending podcasts and panels, running for those positive endorphins, and all whilst building a business, and doing a fiercely amazing job of it!

Next comes Thread HR very first employee… Hayley Oates (Assoc CIPD L7) , who joined the team in September 2024. Whilst Hayley loves eating and drinking out, her role within the business sits predominantly with our non-hospitality clients. A mum to a toddler and a fluffy cockapoo. You’ll find her running, at Pilates classes, in a football stadium (as a spectator), and scrolling ASOS on an evening!

Drum roll for our next employee Alice Charles . Alice is currently on maternity leave, soaking up every minute with her twin baby girls, and her eldest. Alice is a London girl and knows all the best spots for anything from a rooftop cocktail, parks for a picnic, fine dining, or the perfect place for a catch-up after work.

Up next is…… Amanda Killick (Assoc CIPD L7) , or AK as we like to call her! Full of energy, expert advice, and with a wonderful aura. A very busy mum to her wonderful 2 girls, you’ll catch her baking, creating content, or dancing. She’s a wizard when it comes to social media and designing amazing content for the team.

Last, but by no means least, is our latest employee to join the team. Our first full timer, Claire Udell! Claire has recently joined us as Operations Manager and brings with her a depth of knowledge on what a business really needs to get stuff done!! We’re not sure how she does it but at home she is surrounded by teens and young adults as she is mum to her two not-far-off adult girls, and she has three stepsons, one stepdaughter and is Granna to her step grandson too! In her down time, you’ll often find Claire trying to hunt out any sunshine she can find (she hates being cold!) whilst out walking her dog, Molly. She also loves home interiors, socialising with an occasional cheeky cocktail, football, music, festivals and experiences. Oh, and she’s a bit of a petrol head at heart too having owned some crazy cars over the years!

Very excitingly, we have a wonderful fifth employee joining the team very soon. Bethany Jones will join us as our fourth People Partner. Bethany keeps herself busy with her young son and enjoys being outdoors, playing golf, and finishing the round with a well-deserved wine! We cannot wait to get to know Bethany more and introduce her to you too!

Across our team, we have decades of HR experience, on everything from recruitment, to training, employee relations, system implementation, employment legislation, and all the other bits that come part and parcel of working within HR! Our industry experience includes hospitality, manufacturing, financial, charities, technology, retail, utilities, and many more.

No matter who you speak to here, you’re in very safe hands.
